We’re looking for a Business Development & Sales Associate to drive software sales across the GFA ecosystem. The core of this role is converting qualified prospects into paying users for BMOS (Build My Online Store), ETS (Empower The Seller), and ThyFlySales.com. Our community and Cross Border Summit (CBS) generate warm, founder-level leads, and your job is to turn that pipeline into trials, demos, and paid plans.
This is a project-based role to start, with room to grow into something longer-term based on results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation Support: Identify and develop qualified prospects for BMOS, ETS, and ThyFlySales.com from ecosystem content, events, community engagement, and inbound interest.
- Pipeline Management: Keep clean, accurate pipeline tracking — lead stage, next steps, contact history, ownership. No qualified lead goes cold.
- Sales Outreach & Follow-Up: Run direct outreach to software prospects and ecosystem contacts. Respond to inbound interest fast and move conversations toward a trial, demo, or paid plan.
- Relationship Management: Build trust with prospects and partners through consistent, professional communication, with an eye on long-term product adoption.
- Offer Matching & Qualification: Know the products well enough to match the right prospect to the right offer, and qualify leads on fit, urgency, budget, and probability to close.
- Sales Operations: Coordinate with community and content teams so outreach timing lines up with campaigns. Prepare follow-up emails and basic product materials as needed.
- GFA & CBS Funnel Work: Use GFA community activity and CBS attendee/sponsor conversations as a sourcing channel for software leads, not just standalone targets.
Qualifications
- Experience in software sales, SaaS sales support, business development, lead generation, or account support.
- Strong written communication and follow-through.
- Confidence handling both outbound and inbound commercial conversations.
- Good judgment qualifying leads and prioritizing across multiple products.
- Comfortable managing more than one pipeline at a time without losing organization.
- CRM or tracker discipline.
- Able to work independently in an output-based, remote environment.
Preferred Skills (Bonus Points)
- Experience selling software, SaaS, or digital products.
- Familiarity with ecommerce, events, or community-based monetization.
- Experience working with international founders, operators, or cross-border sellers.
- Comfort working across more than one product line at the same time.

Big Picture of Your Role
GFA and CBS bring in strong, warm leads from a founder and operator audience — your job is to turn that into revenue. You’ll have real ownership over how you manage and prioritize your pipeline, working closely with our community, content, and project teams to keep outreach timed well and conversations moving. This is a results-driven role: the better you convert, the more you earn.
Compensation
- Base fee: TBD (project-based)
- Commission: 5% on every customer closed and paid
- Plus bonuses tied to outcomes like sponsor deals closed, CBS attendee sales attributed to you, and other performance milestones
Final commission attribution and payout timing will be confirmed before you start.
